Sometimes you meet a family and you instantly feel like a good friend. They are so warm and loving, they just welcome you right in. Well, this family was just like that. I had the honor of photographing the whole DeSa Family...mom, dad, kids, spouses, grandkids...in San Juan Capistrano. Rosemary told me the last thing she wanted was fake family portraits. She really wanted organic and natural portraiture, rather than posed. They made creating that easy because they were so natural together as a family. Smiles came easily and love just oozed out...hugs, holding hands. They were all just happy to be together. Honestly, I smiled nearly the whole time working on their gallery. Here are a few of my favorites from our time together!

Nearly every holiday we have a family gathering filled with tons of love fun and Easter is no exception. My niece's April birthday nearly always falls close to Easter, so my sister-in-law combines Easter fun with birthday games. This year, we had a sack race. It was fun for the kids of all ages!
Hoppy Easter Friends!

March was definitely my lucky month. We got a visit from the newest members of the family (along with their parents); my 9-month-old twin niece and nephew. I had babies in my house and you can bet my camera rarely left my eye. They were only here for one night and these are my favorites. My sister-in-law promised me more session time on their next visit.
