In the afternoons the setting sun streams into my dining room, creating the most lovely golden light. On this day, my oldest sat in just the right spot to capture her reflection in the open window. I could not resist taking advantage of the most precious and perfect moment. It takes quiet to notice what's around us. With life swirling about it's not always easy to see what's right in front of me; but, on this day, in the quiet of the afternoon, beauty revealed itself and I gladly played along.
