Life in Loud Week 29 California beach and family photographer

When I was growing up, my sister and I would fight, you know normal sibling stuff. My mom would say, "I always wanted a sister and I was so happy when I had two girls." Ha! I think in that moment, with all the bickering and yelling, she probably regretted having children at all. And with three daughters, some days, I can so relate!

Now, as an adult, I'm so grateful I have a sister. She's the best! I know, no matter what, I can count on her to be my ally, my cheerleader, my friend, and a rock of support that never waivers.

Here in this moment pictured, on the beach and exploring the tide pools, sisterhood is all it's meant to be; time together, making memories, helping each other, sharing an experience.

A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost. ~ Marion C. Garretty
