After Little Miss' fun park day yesterday she came down with a really high fever and sore throat. I sensed it was either strep throat or hand, foot and mouth disease. After a restless night I took her to urgent care first thing in the morning. She didn't have any sores on her hands or feet so I asked for a strep test. It came back negative and the doctor saw sores on her throat. Bummer! At least with strep throat you get antibiotics. With hand, foot and mouth you get a recommendation for Popsicles for every meal.
|As Little Miss was carrying this Popsicle into the living room the older girls reported that Little Miss had already eaten about 5 popsicles!!! I calmly explained that when they had hand, foot and mouth they ate a lot of popsicles too!|
