96 A Rainbow of Eggs

Baby M has been practicing, getting ready for the big day, and it finally arrived. Today, we colored eggs for Easter. We colored eggs twice prior as a little practice or warm up. The practice paid off because today's activity was a joyful experience. No spilling. No fighting over colors. No fighting over eggs. Baby M was a pro and the result was beautiful, colorful, festive eggs.

(Little photographer's tip: we colored eggs in the late afternoon while indirect light streamed in from two windows...one large and one small...providing natural light and catch lights in their eyes. I set the girls in position for the best lighting. Because we were in one spot I could determine my settings and keep them there for the entire time. My settings: ISO 800, f/stop 2.8 and 1/200)
