Recently, I had the privilege of reading a soon-to-be-published article by my good friend, artist and photographer, Kristianne Koch, where she explained that a good photographer waits and watches. She waits and watches for the beautiful light, the genuine expression, the intimate moment. Kristianne assures the reader that if you miss a moment by a fraction of a second, to just wait because if the action or expression is genuine you will see it again. Today, while the older girls continued to recuperate, I saw a moment. Little D and Baby M were curled up on the floor all wrapped up in blankets just being close. The light was perfect and I was prepared. I waited and captured some of the sweetest photos I have ever created. Thank you Kristianne for your wisdom and generosity to share it.
