192 The Swimming Hole

Day three of our three-day celebration was filled with swimming at the 5th Avenue Swimming Club. As a child I loved swimming all-day, every-day in the giant reservoir-turned-coop-swim-club. I would pretend I was a mermaid in the ocean or a dolphin in the sea. My parents continued the membership so my girls and their cousins can experience the freedom of swimming without boundaries.

Four cousins together on the floating dock.

The whole day, while the kids swam, I was captivated my the patterns and textures made by the water and it's reflections. It reminds me of an abstract painting.
